Our Purpose

We provide an enriched program of "work" and "play" that will help to develop the "whole" child.
Our enriched preschool program is carried out by utilizing the intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual objectives of Christian Education. In this way, Christian truths become a part of the total educational process for the preschool child.

Through our teaching, we seek to communicate to the children that God made us, He loves us and wishes to take care of us and we are special people in His eyes. It is our desire to lay foundations which help make a strong faith possible in subsequent years.

Our Goals

Realizing that the early years of a person’s life are of the utmost importance, our programs are designed to aid and enrich the growth and development of each child. Specifically, we want to provide learning experiences and enrichment in the following areas:
Language Arts

Introduce the love of reading, empowering them to use their own words, interpret and use words to describe what they see, begin using writing utensils and the importance of listening.
Social Skills

Learning to share. The importance of using kind words such as ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ to your parents, friends and teachers, using kind hands.
Physical Development

Large muscle play fosters total brain development. Play is outside in our fenced playground area or in the gymnasium.
Listening / Speaking Skills

These are used to lay a solid foundation for reading and writing. Learning to listen to a story, listen to our friends share their stories and listening to instructions.
Pre-Math

Number identification. Count numbers in proper sequence. Size differences- long/short; big/small; holds more/less; narrow/wide.
Music & Arts

Music is incorporated during different times of the class day. Art is used to develop small muscle skills and creativity. We enjoy painting, creative drawing, collages, prints and sculptures.
Process Skills

Thinking/problem solving – Choices are given throughout the day. Teachers and assistants help with ideas/choices to solve problems.
Recognition Skills

Numbers, letters, colors, shapes, sizes, names and patterns.
